Backstage Foundation is a Texas nonprofit built around a straightforward promise: serve, shelter, and support people in need close to home.
Our beginning
Rooted in Greater Houston.
Backstage Foundation was formed as a Texas domestic nonprofit corporation on June 22, 2017. IRS recognition as a 501(c)(3) public charity became effective in February 2018.
Its archived website documents work across school readiness, food access, disaster relief, clean water, foster-youth support, animal-shelter supplies, and care for homeless young adults.
The organization is led by President Vanessa Raanes and operates from Magnolia, Texas, with a focus on needs across the Greater Houston region.
